The 1995 Washington Huskies weathered through a brutal schedule to finish in a tie for the Pac-10 title in Jam Lambright’s third season in Seattle.
The Huskies dropped non-conference games to Ohio State and Notre Dame but posted a 6-1-1 record in conference play, including a home loss to Oregon and a tie with USC. The Trojans won the tiebreaker with UW to earn the Rose Bowl berth. The Huskies settled for the Sun Bowl, where they lost to Iowa.
Senior quarterback Damon Huard threw for 2,415 yards and finished his career as UW’s leader in career passing yards with 5,692.
